An initiative by the NZ Association for Environmental Education brings Seaweek to Akaroa. Local events include harbour cruise specials with local operators, an ocean instameet, an information evening at the Hilltop Tavern and a harbour foraging excursion with Peter Langlands. Little River Drum Festival

Location: Little River Camp Ground – Okuti Valley
If you are after a quiet relaxing weekend camping then this isn’t for you. The normally tranquil Okuti Valley is once again awakened by the rhythmic beats of the Little River Drum Festival. Le Jolie Jog
Sunday 28th February @ 10am
Location: Race start is off Stoney Bay Road
It’s time to see if the past months of training has been enough. Whether you are chasing first prize or wish to just stretch the legs and enjoy the view Le Jolie Jog is the perfect way to start your Sunday. There are three different courses 10km, 6km and 4km The cost to enter is $35 for adults, $10 for 6-14yrs and under 6yrs is free.
